Job Description
Position Summary:
Dual position as front desk Administrative Assistant and Psychometrist position for well established Neuropsychology & Behavioral Health practice. Responsible for processing referrals and other administrative tasks and the administration and scoring of intellectual and developmental tests under the supervision of a clinical psychologist.Job Type:
Part- to Full-time, approximately 30-38 hours per week Experience in medical/mental health office administration, with proficient typing and computer use skills, and familiarity with use of EHR are preferred.
Office Hours:
Mon- Thurs 8:30a
- 5p & Friday 8:30a
- 3p Preferred start date for this position: Week of July 27 to 31, 2026.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for various clerical or administrative duties that include but are not limited to: patient scheduling, processing referrals, insurance verifications, procurement of office and testing supplies, etc. Administers and scores psychological tests. Makes notes of behavioral observations during the assessment. Attention to record confidentiality to the highest of standards is expected and in accordance with the American Psychological Association. Maintains regular, punctual attendance consistent with practice policies. Reviews and ensures timeliness, accuracy, availability and security of information. Complies with safety policies and procedures. Maintains an appropriate environment requisite to the performance of psychological testing duties including appropriate cleanliness, lighting, and environmental temperature regulation. Maintains an appropriate environment requisite to the performance of administrative/receptionist duties including cleanliness and organization of your space. Demonstrates an open, honest, caring, and committed communication style with staff, visitors, patients, and families. Practices efficient use of appropriate supplies and equipment. Demonstrates knowledge and expertise requisite to level of degree and requirements of position as stated. Maintains compliance with all Volusia Neuropsychology & Behavioral Health policies and procedures.Qualifications :
Medical/mental health office experience preferred. Experience in administration and scoring of standardized psychological tests preferred but training will also be provided.Minimum education requirement:
Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field.Job Types:
