What You Will Do:
Coordinates and schedules patient medical services and referrals with external healthcare providers. Manages schedule changes and cancellations, ensuring proper approval is obtained. Maintains accurate and up-to-date provider contact information. Ensures all appointment details, special instructions, and patient information are accurately entered into the electronic medical system. Adheres to site-specific protocols and maintains up-to-date documentation for compliance.
What You Will Need:
Education:
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Note:
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Additional Preferences:
Experience coordinating patient appointments in a medical office with exceptional customer service, strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting.
