Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and well organized AHCA (Agency for Health Care Administration) Administrator to lead and oversee the daily operations of our newly purchased facility. This role demands a motivated and organized leader with experience in healthcare management, medical office administration, and compliance with health regulations. The AHCA Administrator will ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care, maintain financial, health, and staff education records in compliance with the AHCA regulations. The ideal administrator will be able to effectively manage and grow the ALF over the next year. Local connections and networking with area Hospitals and residences is key to optimum performance. Duties Manage and supervise healthcare staff, including clinical and administrative teams, ensuring optimal performance and team cohesion. Oversee fiscal management, including budgeting, financial reporting, billing processes, and cost control strategies. Ensure compliance with all applicable AHCA health regulation policies, including
HIPAA, JCAHO
standards, and state licensing requirements. Coordinate medical administrative support functions such as medical records management, patient management software (EMR/EHR systems), and billing procedures. Supervise clinic operations to streamline patient flow, appointment scheduling, and record keeping. Implement healthcare practice management strategies to improve patient care quality and operational efficiency. Maintain a thorough understanding of managed care, utilization management, and acute care protocols to optimize patient outcomes. Lead human resources activities including staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution. Monitor clinic performance metrics to ensure high standards of service delivery while adhering to healthcare policies and regulations. Skills Proven experience in medical office management with strong knowledge of healthcare regulation policies such as AHCA, HIPAA and JCAHO standards. Expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, financial planning, and medical billing processes. Extensive background in managing healthcare teams within clinical settings such as dental clinics or acute care environments. Proficiency with patient management software platforms. Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and electronic health records systems. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work culture. Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with AHCA regulations while maintaining high-quality patient care standards. Ability to handle complex administrative tasks such as budgeting, financial analysis, and operational planning within a healthcare setting. Maintain AHCA Administrator certification.
