Patient Service Front Desk Coordinator Pay:
$15.00-$18.00 per hour

In person Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Patient Service Front Desk Coordinator to join our Behavioral Healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative and clinical support tasks. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure a welcoming environment for all patients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient care excellence through effective communication, efficient scheduling, and thorough record management. Key Responsibilities Open and close the practice and maintain a clean, welcoming front office. Answer and triage phone calls, emails, and patient questions. Check patients in and out and schedule appointments. Complete insurance verification and eligibility checks before appointments. Confirm benefits, copays, deductibles, and patient responsibility. Collect required patient forms, records, insurance cards, and identification. Process medical-record requests and upload documents to the EHR. Follow HIPAA requirements when handling patient information. Assist staff with administrative duties, office supplies, mail, and daily office upkeep. Qualifications At least two years of experience in front-office administration, patient intake, or a similar role. Experience with insurance verification and eligibility. Mental or behavioral health experience preferred. Strong customer service, communication, organization, and time-management skills. Comfortable using computers, EHR systems, Microsoft 365, Office, and Teams. Dependable, punctual, professional, and able to handle confidential information. Able to sit for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds. Join us in delivering outstanding patient care!
