Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately. Schedule appointments, confirm visits, and maintain provider schedules. Verify insurance information and update patient demographics as needed. Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions, requests, and scheduling needs. Communicate pathology, laboratory, and provider-directed results to patients following established protocols. Process incoming and outgoing faxes, referrals, and medical documentation. Maintain and organize medical records while ensuring confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. Scan, upload, and index patient documents into the electronic medical record system. Assist with patient correspondence, including messages, forms, prior authorizations, and medical record requests. Coordinate communication between patients, providers, pharmacies, and referring offices. Monitor front desk workflows and help maintain an efficient patient experience. Perform clerical and administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, document preparation, and record maintenance. Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to support daily operations. Maintain a professional, organized, and patient-centered environment. Basic Qualifications Outstanding customer service and interpersonal communication skills. Professional phone etiquette and strong written communication abilities.
