Job Description

Carrollton, GA Clinical Support 26-426 Job Description The Back Office Team lead is responsible for rendering clinical care within the medical practice in support of and as directed by the physician. Will also have general responsibilities to assist in the day to day operation of this office to ensure quality patient care. Clinical care will include patient assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Education High School Diploma or GED Experience Three years of related experience. Requires working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures. Licenses & Certifications Certified Medical Assistant Healthcare Provider (CPR) Qualifications Ability to organize, analyze, and prioritize work load. Ability to work closely and provide effective team building leadership. Demonstrated ability in problem identification, analysis, and resolution. Knowledge of Word processing and Excel spreadsheets preferred. Must be capable of dealing tactfully and effectively with patients, family members, other employees, and physicians. Must be certified as a Medical Assistant by the AAMA or a Registered Medical Assistant by the AMT. We will accept certification from NCCT and NHA plus 3 years of experience. MA or nursing school may be used as part of the experience required. Must possess the cognitive ability to understand patients' medical records, physician's orders, and medical orders to be communicated to patient, hospital, and or other physician. Must possess the sense of discipline to work in accordance with accepted clinical standards. Neat, pleasant demeanor with the ability to communicate with a variety of people of different backgrounds. Prior experience of performing x-rays and EKG preferred.
