Discover all the possibilities of a career at Northside today. Responsibilities Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Surgical Services Operating Rooms. Required to frequently apply management principles to the perioperative discipline. Must be capable of independent judgment and decision making in the areas of budget, personnel, patient services and administrative or professional programs. Maintains twenty-four (24) hour accountability and coordinates communications, training, operations and administrative activities for intraoperative cost centers. Qualifications
REQUIRED
1. Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with a minimum of five (5) years intraoperative nursing experience in Nursing, with at least two (2) years supervisory, managerial, or other responsible nursing experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. 2. Demonstrated proficiency in surgical techniques and procedures. 3. Excellent written and oral communications skills.
PREFERRED
1. Bachelors Degree in Nursing or Health Care Administration from an accredited college or university. 2.
CNOR. 3. ACLS
certification.
Work Hours:
6:30am - 3:00pm
