Job Overview

•Please do not apply if you do not have recent dental treatment coordinator experience. This is not an entry level position

•We are seeking an experienced, well spoken customer service oriented Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our business team. In this role, you will serve as the bridge between patients and our clinical team, ensuring seamless communication, accurate documentation and efficient scheduling. Your energetic approach will help foster a positive patient experience while managing administrative tasks with precision. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional patient service, proficient in dental and medical terminology and the ability to multitask. Greet patients warmly and verify insurance coverage through insurance verification processes when needed Schedule appointments efficiently in open dental Review and update patient records accurately Explain treatment plans clearly, including procedures, costs, and payment options to patients Coordinate with dental providers to facilitate care plans and ensure timely treatment delivery Handle phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette, providing information or directing calls appropriately Review documentation for accuracy and completeness in accordance with dental records standards Experience Proven experience in a dental office setting as a treatment and/or billing coordinator Strong knowledge of dental terminology and insurance verification processes Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) and typing accuracy (10 key typing) Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively serve diverse patient populations Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Experience with Dental Intel and Weave a Plus
