Key Responsibilities Clinical Oversight:

Oversee all nursing and clinical operations of the ophthalmic ASC; coordinate daily surgery schedules and operational workflows.

Team Leadership:

Provide direction, mentoring, and support to nursing and clinical staff; manage staff scheduling, orientation, ongoing education, and competency assessments.

Compliance & Quality Assurance:

Ensure total compliance with CMS, State of Georgia, and ASC accrediting body requirements; lead preparation for CMS surveys, audits, and accreditation activities.

Surgeon Collaboration:

Partner closely with surgeons and the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to align clinical workflows with financial KPIs.

Patient Safety:

Direct all quality improvement, infection control, and patient safety initiatives to maintain the highest standards of care.

Inventory & Resource Management:

Manage clinical inventory, including medications, specialized ophthalmic supplies, and surgical equipment.

Admin & Documentation:

Develop and maintain center policies, procedures, and clinical standards; ensure thorough knowledge of surgical coding and clinical documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements License:

Active, unencumbered Georgia State RN License (Required).

Education:

BSN degree is highly desirable.

Experience:

Proven perioperative/OR nursing background. Previous management or leadership experience within an ASC or acute care setting. Experience with ASC operations, CMS regulations, and infection prevention. Ophthalmic surgery experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right leader.

Pay:

From $72,000.00 per year
