We are seeking an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to serve as our Behavioral Health Director . About Good Samaritan Good Samaritan Health & Wellness Center provides comprehensive, integrated healthcare services, including: Family Medicine Behavioral Health Dental Services School-Based Health Center Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Pharmacy Care Coordination Community Outreach Programs Our integrated care model allows Behavioral Health professionals to work closely with Primary Care providers to improve patient outcomes through whole-person care. Position Summary The Behavioral Health Director provides both clinical and operational leadership for the Behavioral Health Department. This position oversees a team of licensed behavioral health professionals while maintaining a limited outpatient counseling caseload. The Director partners with executive leadership to strengthen the department through staff development, quality improvement, integrated care, patient access initiatives, and operational excellence. Primary Responsibilities Leadership & Operations Lead, mentor, and support a team of Behavioral Health clinicians. Foster a collaborative, accountable, and patient-centered culture. Supervise LMSWs in accordance with Georgia licensing requirements. Recruit, onboard, mentor, and develop Behavioral Health staff. Participate as a member of the leadership team. Lead departmental meetings and communicate organizational initiatives. Build strong relationships with community partners and referral sources. Clinical Services Maintain a limited outpatient counseling caseload. Provide behavioral health assessments and evidence-based treatment. Collaborate with Primary Care providers within an integrated care model. Provide crisis intervention and clinical consultation when appropriate. Ensure continuity of care and effective care coordination. Department Performance Monitor provider productivity, scheduling, patient access, and department performance. Develop strategies to improve patient access and reduce no-show rates. Analyze operational data and recommend improvements. Support quality improvement initiatives and organizational goals. Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation. Compliance & Quality Ensure compliance with HRSA Health Center Program requirements, HIPAA, state licensing regulations, and organizational policies. Participate in Quality Improvement activities, audits, and accreditation efforts. Assist in developing policies, procedures, and best practices. Qualifications Required Active Georgia Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in good standing. Three (3) or more years of clinical behavioral health experience. Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience. Experience supervising LMSWs or willingness to provide clinical supervision. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care. Preferred Experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). Experience with integrated primary care. Experience leading multidisciplinary teams. Experience with quality improvement initiatives. Experience improving provider productivity and patient access.
