Job Description
Skin Cancer Specialists, a portfolio practice of AQUA Dermatology , is a premier dermatology practice serving patients in the metro Atlanta area, northern and southern Georgia, and eastern Alabama. We offer comprehensive treatments for skin cancer, general dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, and aesthetic services. Our team needs a Front Office Patient Coordinator immediately for a Dermatology career. The ideal candidate is upbeat, energetic, intelligent, highly dependable, organized, and able to multitask. Our team members provide support with filing, telephone coverage, appointment scheduling, registration, and patient referrals by performing the following duties: Primary Duties Greets and directs patients and visitors. Answers telephone calls, responds to inquiries, and directs callers to appropriate personnel. Schedules new and follow-up appointments and enters appointment dates and times into the practice management system. Registers patients by verifying that their records are up to date and accurate. Makes appropriate changes in the practice management system. Enter all demographic and insurance information. Maintain the neatness and functionality of the front office, lobby, and waiting areas. Check patients out, collect payments, and provide receipts. Assists walk-in patients with account inquiries and payments as needed. Maintain and mail monthly postcards to patients. Balance payment transactions at the end of each shift. Provide the billing office with all required documentation. Provide patients with cosmetic product information as requested. Assists patients with cosmetic purchases. Full-Time Monday- Friday
- 7 am
- 5 pm
LOCATION
- Rome, with occasional travel to Cartersville
QUALIFICATIONS
Education :
This position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience- 1•2 years of medical office experience preferred.
- Excellent oral communication skills; effective communication. Work Style
