Job Description

Work Shift:
7:00am - 7:00pm / 7:00pm - 7:00am (As Needed Basis) Responsible for bed assignment for admission of patients in assigned area. Maintains up-to-date medical records and order entry on all patients on the unit. Performs clerical and receptionist duties. Performs other patient comfort duties needed to maintain the flow of patient care within the system. Is responsible for carrying out the mission, vision, values, and quality commitment of Emory Healthcare.
Education & Training:
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience:
One (1) year clerical experience or six (6) months experience as an Emory Healthcare Patient Care Technician.
Required Certification/Registration/Licensure:
Current
AHA/ARC BLS
certification.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Must be able to utilize standard office equipment.
