Medical Clinic Office Manager

Company Overview Big Island Pain Center is a busy, well-established interventional pain practice with multiple providers serving our Big Island Community. J ob Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Medical Clinic Office Manager to lead our administrative operations. In this vital role, you will oversee daily clinic functions, manage staff, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and support efficient patient management. Your leadership will help create a smooth, welcoming environment for both staff and patients while maintaining high standards of medical office management. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the medical clinic, including patient flow and administrative processes Oversee medical billing, coding, and financial management to ensure accuracy and compliance with healthcare policies Manage clinic staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and other health regulation policies to protect patient confidentiality and data security Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Dentrix for accurate medical records management Maintain compliance with JCAHO standards and other accreditation requirements Support human resources functions related to staffing, onboarding, and staff development Requirements Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare practice management with a strong background in clinic operations Extensive knowledge of medical billing, coding, and financial management including budgeting and managed care processes Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Dentrix; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential Demonstrated supervisory experience managing healthcare teams in clinical settings such as hospitals or dental clinics Strong understanding of health regulation policies including HIPAA compliance and medical records management Excellent managerial communication skills combined with a customer service-oriented approach Ability to handle complex administrative tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Prior experience with acute care or hospital settings is highly desirable; familiarity with dental office operations is a plus Join us as we continue to grow our team by bringing your expertise in healthcare management! Pay:
$28.00 - $35.00 per hour
