Lihue, HI › Business Manager - Perioperative S… Business Manager - Perioperative Services Lihue, HI Founded in 1938, Wilcox Medical Center is a not-for-profit medical center dedicated to providing the Kaua'i community with accessible quality health care. The largest medical center on Kaua'i, it is a state-of-the-art acute care facility with a full suite of services offering 30 specialties and programs, including cardiology, emergency, family practice, gastroenterology, health management, internal medicine, neurology, OB-GYN, oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics and urology. Its 18-bed emergency department serves as the island's Primary Stroke Center. The medical center also has four birthing suites, seven intensive care beds and 20 same-day surgery beds. Wilcox is the first American College of Surgeons-verified Level III Trauma Center in the state of Hawai'i. Wilcox is part of Hawai'i Pacific Health, one of the state's leading health care systems and a not-for-profit health care organization with medical centers, clinics, physicians and other caregivers working together to create a healthier Hawai'i. Our Perioperative Services department provides full support throughout the duration of a patient's surgical procedure, spanning ward admission, anesthesia, surgery and recovery. Professional care services include identification of the patient's individual needs, patient care plan development and implementation and the coordination of nursing service to restore each patient's health before, during and after a surgical procedure. As the Business Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of one or more practice sites to include the oversight of patient care activity and revenue cycle. You will ensure efficient operations and assist with the improvement of systems and processes, monitoring of performance standards, ensuring accountability and providing training for staff to help them meet performance standards. In this role, you will establish, organize, and orchestrate the workflow of the clinical staff and coordinate resources to ensure quality service is provided.

Administrative Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Four (4) years fiscal management or related experience.Preferred Qualifications:
Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems experience. Knowledge of Operating Room operations. Materials Management experience. International Classification of Diseases 9th edition (ICD-9) and Current Procedural Terminology (CPT)/Charge Description Masters (CDM) coding experience.
