Overview UnityPoint Clinic Clinical Supervisor Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM Dubuque, IA Full Time Benefits The Clinic Supervisor is responsible for the coordination of day-to-day clinic operations in a medical office practice and monitors the activities of all office operations components to ensure the clinic meets its objectives. The Clinic Supervisor reports directly to Clinic Administrator or Senior Clinic Administrator and advises and seeks consent from the organizations leadership team to coordinate and manage the activities in the clinic. Responsibilities Oversee daily clinic operations, staffing, and workflow efficiency Lead, coach, and develop clinical and patient service teams Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing performance management Cultivate a collaborative, high-performing team culture focused on quality care Act as a key liaison between patients, providers, and leadership Ensure a seamless, coordinated care experience for every patient Address concerns, support service recovery, and drive patient satisfaction Lead emergency preparedness and response to maintain a safe environment Elevate the Patient Experience and track key performance metrics to maximize clinic efficiency
Qualifications Education:
Associate's degree in nursing or clinical field.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of direct patient care in a clinical setting. Minimum 1 year in clinic operations and leadership. License(s)/Certification(s): Licensed in state(s) of practice in one of the following:
  • Registered Nurse
  • Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Radiology Technologist
  • Emergency Medical Technician OR Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, NCMA, NAHP, AAH, ARMA or NHCA) BCLS Basic Life Support (upon hire) Completion of state-mandated Child and Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training within 60 days of hire: Iowa Child Abuse (MRCHILDIA)
  • required Illinois Child Abuse (MRCHILD-ILDCFS)
  • required Iowa Adult Dependent Abuse (MRDEPADULTIA)
  • required Illinois Adult Dependent Abuse (MRDEPADULT-ILDOA)
  • required
