Pay:

•$20.00/hr, based on experience

Schedule:

Full-time, 35-40 hrs/week Read This Before You Apply So many patients a day come through our doors, and we need someone who can be the calm, caring center of it all: knowing where everyone is, what they need, and making them feel like the most important person in the building. We're looking for someone who wants a long-term home, not a stepping stone, someone who reads this and feels like it's speaking directly to them. Here's an honest look at what this role is, so you can decide for yourself if it's the right fit. This role might not be the best fit if: You prefer a slower, more predictable pace day to day You like a lot of guidance and check-ins along the way Busy, fast-moving environments tend to feel overwhelming rather than energizing You'd rather work mostly independently than talk with people all day You're looking for something short-term rather than a place to grow long-term What A Day In This Role Actually Looks Like Opening the office. You arrive and set the tone for the whole day. Computers on, music playing (we're a faith-based office, we play Christian music and we're open about our faith, but we're never pushy or in-your-face about it), diffuser going, and the space feeling like somewhere you'd genuinely want to spend your morning: clean, cozy, and welcoming from the moment the door opens. Our office is known for feeling homey and organic, not clinical. That standard starts with you, before a single patient walks in. Running the floor. You are the person who knows where every single patient is at every moment: who's in the waiting room, who's in which eval room, which doctors are open, and who's coming up next. You manage room assignments with real judgment, not just a computer prompt (our calling module helps but it's not perfect, so you're often the one actually solving the puzzle).

That means:

Keeping families with kids together when it makes sense, or splitting them into two rooms when it doesn't Keeping kids near the toy area, and not placing someone else in a room next to a family who's using it Watching doctor availability and waiting room volume in real time so no one bottlenecks and no doctor sits idle Getting the right paperwork to the right person before their evaluation Owning patient accounts. You're doing a mini-audit on every account that comes through: how many visits are in their care plan, how many they've actually used, whether their insurance visits are processing correctly. If something's off, you're the one flagging it to our billing team, before it becomes a bigger problem. Alerts and proactive care. Our care plans trigger alerts at certain visit numbers: a stretch video, an exercise, a product, a therapy. You're getting ahead of these before your shift even starts, not scrambling to catch up. You also know who has a birthday coming up and make sure they get a small cake and feel genuinely celebrated. Hospitality, the real kind. Every patient gets greeted by name. You are the person who has the most contact with every single patient who walks through our doors: a warm hello on the way in, a warm goodbye on the way out. You connect with people without slowing down the flow. You're friendly without being loud. If you've read Unreasonable Hospitality , you already understand what we mean: holding the door, getting someone water before they ask, offering coffee, straightening the chairs before anyone notices they're crooked. This isn't performative. It's because you actually care about the person in front of you, whether you know them or not. Owning the schedule. This is one of the most important parts of the role. You own our "percent kept" number. If 100 people are scheduled and 90 show up, that's a 90% kept rate, and you know exactly where that missing 10% went and why. You follow up with those people, not to hound them, but because you genuinely care whether they're staying on track with their doctor's recommendations, and because it matters for the health of our patients, our reputation, and our office. You're also looking ahead: noticing when a family's summer 11am slot won't work once school starts, and getting ahead of it before it becomes a problem. Knowing what to do the moment a pregnant patient calls to say she's going into labor, and reaching out to her in a way that makes her feel seen and loved, not like a scheduling inconvenience. Making sure special appointments are confirmed and paperwork is done in advance. Nobody has to ask you to think ahead. You already are. Paperwork. Inputting eval sheets and new patient paperwork accurately and consistently throughout the day. Who This Person Is Genuinely loves people, and it shows Thrives in fast, high-volume environments and stays calm when things get busy Comfortable multitasking (this role really does mean holding a baby, directing a patient to a room, and answering a text, sometimes all at once) Finds solutions on their own without needing every step spelled out, as long as it aligns with our values and serves the people involved Takes work off other people's plates instead of adding to them Accountable, reliable, and brings a good attitude even on busy days Comfortable with insurance and financial conversations, or eager to learn (training provided) Presents themselves well and takes pride in the details Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems Loves kids Genuinely wants to help people, patients and teammates alike Looking for a long-term home, not a temporary stop Great backgrounds for this role: hospitality, coffee shops (we've had real success with people who've worked fast-paced coffee shop environments), hotels, churches, teaching, or other high-volume customer service.
