Practice Operations & Heart of the Office Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, clinicians, and external partners. Oversee daily administrative workflows, scheduling, client intake, and office logistics. Help shape and refine office processes—bringing your own ideas to optimize how we run. 2. Insurance Verification & Prior Authorizations Perform eligibility and benefit verifications for incoming and existing clients prior to appointments. Request, track, and secure prior authorizations from insurance providers for mental health services to prevent coverage gaps or claims delays. Reconcile coverage details with clinical staff and communicate copays, deductibles, or out-of-pocket estimates clearly to clients. 3. Medical Billing & Revenue Cycle Process and submit insurance claims for mental health services accurately and in a timely manner. Track outstanding claims, manage claim denials, and perform insurance follow-ups/appeals. Manage client billing, copays, deductibles, and account balances. 4. Insurance Credentialing & Provider Onboarding Manage initial credentialing and re-credentialing applications for clinicians with commercial and public insurance panels (CAQH, insurance portals, etc.). Track credentialing status, follow up with insurance representatives, and maintain accurate provider rosters.
Qualifications Experience:
2+ years in medical billing, prior authorization workflows, and insurance credentialing (experience specifically in mental health / behavioral health is strongly preferred).
Skills:
Proficiency with insurance portals, Electronic Health Record (EHR) software (e.g., TherapyNotes, or similar), and clearinghouses.
Attributes:
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, empathy, and excellent communication skills.

$22.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
