On September 1st , we're relocating to a beautiful new facility that's three times larger than our current clinic, allowing us to expand our services and welcome more patients than ever before. We're looking for an experienced Patient Care Coordinator who is organized, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This is more than a front desk position—you'll play a key role in creating an exceptional patient experience while supporting a growing, team-oriented practice. Responsibilities As our Patient Care Coordinator, you will be one of the first impressions of our practice.
Responsibilities include:
Answer incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently. Schedule and coordinate appointments across multiple providers and specialties. Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage. Obtain prior authorizations when applicable. Check patients in and out while providing exceptional customer service. Collect copays, balances, and payments. Assist patients with questions regarding appointments, services, insurance, and billing. Maintain accurate patient records within our electronic medical record (EMR) system. Coordinate communication between providers, medical assistants, and patients. Respond promptly to patient messages and appointment requests. Support front desk operations while maintaining efficiency during busy periods. Cross-train in multiple areas of the clinic and assist with additional administrative duties as needed. Qualifications Required At least 1 year of related experience in a medical office, healthcare setting, customer service, or administrative role. Experience with medical insurance verification and benefits is highly preferred. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. Strong scheduling and organizational abilities. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional attention to detail. Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude. Comfortable learning new software and technology. Proficiency with computers and electronic medical records (EMR experience preferred). Preferred Experience in a medical spa, aesthetics practice, chiropractic office, or integrative healthcare setting. Experience with Cerbo, ChiroTouch, or similar EMR systems. Knowledge of medical terminology. Previous experience as a Patient Care Coordinator, Medical Receptionist, or Front Desk Coordinator. Pay:
$19.00 - $23.00 per hour
