About Us We are a growing, patient-centered dental practice dedicated to delivering exceptional clinical care and an outstanding patient experience. We are looking for an experienced Patient Care Coordinator who is passionate about helping patients understand their treatment needs and guiding them through every step of their dental journey. Position Summary The Patient Care Coordinator plays a vital role in helping patients achieve their oral health goals. This position is responsible for presenting treatment plans, discussing financial options, coordinating scheduling, and ensuring patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident in their treatment decisions. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent organizational skills and a proven ability to build trust with patients. Responsibilities Present and explain treatment plans recommended by the doctor in a clear, compassionate, and professional manner. Educate patients on the benefits and importance of recommended treatment. Discuss insurance benefits, financing options, and payment arrangements. Coordinate treatment scheduling based on clinical priorities and patient availability. Follow up with patients who have pending or unscheduled treatment. Monitor treatment acceptance and help achieve practice production goals. Work collaboratively with doctors, hygienists, and the front office team to ensure seamless patient care. Verify insurance benefits and assist patients in understanding their coverage. Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation. Deliver exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming and positive patient experience. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in the dental field (required). Previous experience as a Dental Treatment Coordinator or similar role is strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of dental procedures, treatment planning, and dental terminology. Experience discussing insurance benefits and patient financing options. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Experience with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Curve) is preferred.
