Full-Time Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) is looking for an experienced mental health professional who wants to make an impact
beyond a traditional therapy caseload. As our Behavioral Health Coordinator, you'll serve as a key clinical resource within Cougar Care,
helping strengthen access to behavioral health services while supporting a collaborative, clinically responsive, and student-centered
counseling center. Rather than maintaining a traditional ongoing therapy caseload, this position focuses on same-day access, crisis
assessment and intervention, consultation on complex clinical presentations, continuity of care, and clinical supervision and mentorship.
You'll work alongside Counseling Services, Health Services, and the broader Cougar Care team to help ensure students receive the right level
of support when they need it. If clinical supervision and helping other clinicians grow is one of the parts of your work you enjoy
most, this role provides a meaningful opportunity to do just that. The Behavioral Health Coordinator provides clinical supervision,
consultation, and mentorship to practicum students, trainees, and clinicians working toward independent licensure while helping foster a
culture of learning, collaboration, and clinical excellence. Qualified candidates must be licensed, or license eligible, in the State
of Illinois for independent clinical practice and have a minimum of three years of post-graduate clinical experience in a mental health
setting. Candidates should also have training and experience in clinical supervision or clinical mentoring; experience with crisis
intervention, behavioral health consultation, and case management; and training in
DSM-5-TR
diagnosis and classification, therapeutic
