Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients with respiratory conditions, ensuring seamless communication between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies. Your energetic approach will help improve patient outcomes by coordinating care plans, managing appointments, and providing exceptional customer service. Duties Act as the main liaison for respiratory patients, providing clear guidance and support throughout their treatment journey.
Inter-office duties:
A. Input all Patient information for cpap set-ups (Brightree scheduler & CPAP programs). B. Verification of benefits for set-ups as well as obtaining authorizations following insurance guidelines. C. Completing accurate orders in Brightree. D. Reviewing accurate benefit information to patients in person and on the phone E. Obtaining co insurances. F. Pull machines as needed to assist department. G. Reviewing appointments each day to ensure that sales orders are created and sent to POD, if needed H. Contact non-compliant patients to return devices. I. Requalify New to Medicare patients following insurance guidelines. J. Handling overnight pulse oximetry orders. K. Create PAP repair estimate tickets. L .Clean returned equipment and remove it from Airview. M. Drop Shipped Machines. Add these devices into Airview and move sales order to appropriate WIP state. N. Managing the action groups within Airview. O. Answer phones and forward message to appropriate person. Qualifications Proven experience in a medical office setting or healthcare administrative support role Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with patient management software or EMR/EHR systems Strong knowledge of health regulation policies related to patient confidentiality and medical record management Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse patient populations Knowledge of health insurance processes, billing procedures, and medical terminology Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining accuracy through typing and data entry tasks Office experience demonstrating organizational skills and attention to detail Join us in delivering exceptional respiratory care by coordinating vital services that enhance patient well-being. Pay:
$19.00 - $21.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
