Job Description

Our expanding company is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the position of Appointment Coordinator & Biller . The right candidate will be familiar with scheduling appointments, handling various medical issues and should be an energetic self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, friendly and has the ability to work both independently and with others. The Appointment Coordinator & Biller position requires a professional demeanor and the ability to effectively use common office tools such as Microsoft Office, scheduling and billing software. We are interested in hiring an individual who has experience scheduling appointments for medical offices and enjoys interacting with people.
Responsibilities:
Effectively communicate with patients, physicians, and staff members over the phone and in person. Be able to work effectively under pressure. Pay attention to detail. Maintain confidentiality of information. Deal with patients and physicians in a courteous, professional manner. Follow established policies and procedures. Be able to multi-task and prioritize assignments. 2 + years Medical billing experience and a working knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT4 coding and modifiers is required Possess current skills to perform data entry of daily charges Familiar with medical terminology Current work experience with the Medisoft Patient Accounting software is preferred Maintain appointments for multiple providers Process charges and payments for multiple providers
