Position Overview The Patient Care Supervisor serves in a dual role as both a Medical Assistant and supervisor of Medical Assistants , overseeing day-to-day clinical operations and ensuring high standards of patient care. Reporting to the Health Center Administrator , this role is responsible for supporting clinical excellence, patient safety, and operational efficiency. The Patient Care Supervisor partners closely with the Patient Experience Supervisor and care team to improve workflows, enhance patient outcomes, and support staff development and retention. Key Responsibilities Clinical & Patient Care Deliver exceptional customer service using the AIDET model Ensure proper screening and triage of walk-in patients Communicate clinical concerns to providers and leadership Assist with patient registration and check-out as needed Maintain high standards of infection control, medication administration, and procedural support Supervision & Team Leadership Supervise and support Medical Assistants in daily operations Develop and manage daily staff assignments and workflows Complete onboarding for new hires within 90 days Conduct annual competency evaluations Mentor staff to support growth, performance, and retention Operations & Coordination Manage real-time patient scheduling and clinic flow Partner with Patient Experience Supervisor on claims, supplies, and equipment needs Ensure all claims are closed and submitted daily Coordinate equipment maintenance and vendor services Support monthly Joint Commission documentation and compliance Administrative & Compliance Communicate policy and procedural updates to staff Attend required trainings and complete Core Curriculum Perform additional duties as assigned Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay: $23-$25/hour Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life & Disability Insurance Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick, Holidays) Retirement Plan Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Employee Discounts (cell phones, restaurants, and more) Qualifications Required Certified or Registered Medical Assistant Prior supervisory experience Pediatrics experience Additional Requirements Valid driver's license and current auto insurance Ability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays Flexibility to travel between clinic locations as needed Equal Opportunity Employer Aunt Martha's Health & Wellness is an equal opportunity employer.
