Tinley Park, Travel Required Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform blood collections by venipuncture technique for all age groups.
  • Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
  • Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
  • Provide superior customer service to all patients.
  • Clerical duties as necessary.
  • Travel to additional sites when needed.
Education High School graduate or equivalent required National Phlebotomy Certification or qualified to sit for phlebotomy certification exam preferred Prior experience as a Phlebotomist OR an equivalent combination of graduation from a certified phlebotomy school coupled with work experience in a healthcare field preferred. Moderate knowledge of medical terminology, excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred. The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $17.65-26.50, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
