Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring a seamless experience from appointment scheduling to follow-up care. Duties Coordinate patient appointments, ensuring timely scheduling and rescheduling as needed Communicate effectively with patients via phone, email, and in person to address inquiries, provide instructions, and confirm appointments Assist patients with insurance verification, billing questions, and understanding policies Maintain compliance with health regulation policies and privacy standards to protect patient confidentiality Support medical administrative tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and managing patient flow within the office Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication purposes Strong knowledge of health regulation policies including HIPAA compliance and patient privacy laws Familiarity with dental terminology Experience using patient management software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse patient populations Understanding of dental insurance processes, billing procedures, and claim submissions Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy while typing and managing electronic health records Effective phone communication skills for scheduling, follow-up calls, and addressing patient concerns Join us in delivering exceptional patient care through energetic engagement, meticulous organization, and compassionate support.
