THE OPPORTUNITY

Life Choices Care Center is seeking a Director of Clinical Operations to lead and oversee our clinical services and nursing operations. This is an opportunity for an experienced, compassionate RN who desires to combine excellent clinical care with leadership and ministry. The Director of Clinical Operations will provide direct patient care while also leading clinical staff, overseeing patient follow-up, coordinating clinical programs, maintaining quality and compliance, and helping shape the future of our clinical services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and oversee daily clinical and nursing operations. Provide and/or oversee pregnancy testing and limited obstetrical ultrasound services. Provide compassionate support and options counseling to women and families facing pregnancy decisions. Oversee patient follow-up, education, referrals, and continuity of care. Provide Abortion Pill Rescue (APR) clinical services in accordance with established protocols and the Medical Director's standing orders. Lead, train, mentor, and support nursing and clinical staff. Collaborate closely with the Medical Director regarding patient care, clinical concerns, policies, and procedures. Monitor patient communication and follow-up through approved systems Maintain clinical documentation, data, reporting, and quality improvement processes. Submit required clinical data and communicate significant trends, needs, and outcomes to leadership. Manage clinical supplies, equipment, and departmental budget. Identify opportunities to strengthen and expand clinical programs and services. Support patients experiencing pregnancy loss and connect patients with appropriate community resources. Maintain awareness of relevant healthcare, cultural, and legal developments affecting the patients we serve.

REQUIREMENTS

Current RN license in good standing and eligibility to practice in Indiana. Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while effectively leading and collaborating with others. Commitment to patient confidentiality, professional standards, and compassionate care. Ability to balance direct patient care with administrative and leadership responsibilities. Willingness to participate in the APR on-call schedule. Alignment with the mission and values of Life Choices Care Center. Qualified to provide limited obstetrical ultrasound services through appropriate didactic and practical training in accordance with established medical standards, or willing to complete the required training.

PREFERRED

Nursing leadership or management experience. Women's health, obstetric, or pregnancy resource center experience. Limited obstetrical ultrasound experience. Experience working with abortion-minded or abortion-vulnerable patients. Experience with program development, data, or quality improvement.
