Job Description
Franciscan Health Munster Campus 701 Superior Ave Munster, Indiana 46321 The Patient Assistance Pharmacy Coordinator is responsible for coordinating Prescription Assistance Programs (PAPs) to assist qualified uninsured or underinsured patients, to obtain medication assistance via manufacturer programs, grants, or copay assistance cards. This position interacts with patients and healthcare providers to determine PAP eligibility, and completes the required documentation to support patient assistance applications.

Coordinate patient assistance programs for uninsured and underinsured patients Obtain necessary documents for procuring free drugs, grants or copay assistance cards Maintain all the required documents for compliance and audit. Stay current with patient assistance programs Recommend purchases based on contract pricing, knowledge of vendors, and insurance benefits.QUALIFICATIONS
Required High School Diploma/GED 3 years Pharmacy Experience Preferred 2 years Medication Purchasing Preferred Pharmacy Technician, State Cert (PHT)- State Licensing Board Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certification
