JOB SUMMARY AND SPECIFICATIONS JOB SUMMARY
The Respiratory Care Assistant Manager serves as a leader of the health care team in the department. The assistant manager will assist the Respiratory Care manager in the daily and long term development of the department. They will remain proficient with clinical procedures and will work as a staff therapist as necessary. They must have interpersonal skills along with a high level of initiative and ability to manage priorities. They are responsible for administering care to patients via the respiratory scope of practice; assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care. Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI (continuous quality improvement) activities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Professional & Technical Skills Good written and oral communication skills. Education High school diploma License(s) or Certification(s) Indiana State Licensure and RRT by the NBRC Other Skills or Requirements Customer service oriented personality. Skilled to Care for Certain Age-Related Patient Groups (incumbents will be skilled in the care of the following patient groups) All age groups
