We're seeking a full-time Clinical Coordinator to join our Olathe team. This position is ideal for an experienced Dental Assistant who is ready to take the next step in leadership while remaining actively involved in patient care. The Clinical Coordinator serves as a leader within the clinical team and works closely with the General Manager and doctors to create an organized, efficient, positive, and patient-centered clinical environment. Our ideal candidate is someone who leads by example, communicates well, takes initiative, holds themselves and others accountable, and genuinely enjoys working with children and supporting a team.
Clinical Coordinator Responsibilities:
Lead and support the Dental Assistant team in day-to-day clinical operations Serve as a hands-on Dental Assistant and support patient care as needed Coordinate daily clinical flow to keep providers and patient schedules running efficiently Help ensure the clinical team is prepared and ready before the start of each patient day Assign and coordinate clinical responsibilities and provider columns Train, coach, and support Dental Assistants in clinical skills, workflows, and practice expectations Help maintain consistency in clinical protocols and standards across the team Monitor clinical supplies and inventory and assist with ordering and organization Ensure operatories and clinical areas remain clean, organized, stocked, and ready for patient care Support sterilization processes and ensure proper infection-control standards are followed Identify workflow challenges and proactively work with leadership to develop solutions Communicate clinical needs, concerns, and opportunities to the General Manager and doctors Promote teamwork, accountability, professionalism, and a positive clinical culture Help onboard and train new clinical team members Model Joyful Dentistry for Kids' values and expectations every day

Experience Dental Assisting experience required Pediatric dental experience strongly preferred Previous leadership, lead Dental Assistant, or Clinical Coordinator experience preferred Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to coach and support team members while maintaining accountability Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented pediatric environment Location Olathe, KS 66062 (Required)
Office Hours Tuesday-Thursday:
