Clinic Coordinator - Erie Clinic Labette Health is seeking a friendly, dependable Clinic Coordinator to join our Erie Clinic team. This position serves as the first point of contact for patients and plays an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience while supporting daily clinic operations.
Essential Duties:
Greet and assist patients, visitors, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner Answer and direct incoming phone calls Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments Register patients and verify demographic and insurance information Collect copays and process patient payments Maintain patient records and complete data entry as needed Assist with referrals, medical records requests, and other clerical duties Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and clinic staff Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements Support daily clinic workflow and other administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous customer service, receptionist, or healthcare office experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer skills and ability to learn electronic medical record systems Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
