Job Description

Clinical Specialist Location:
Covington, KY Hours:
Part Time - Tuesday/Thursday from 8:00am - 5:00pm and potential for Wednesdays.
THE POSITION
Loads, delivers and sets up durable medical equipment, oxygen and supplies to patients in their homes, as instructed Demonstrates equipment operation by providing instruction for use of certain types of medical equipment in the home Ensures a safe patient environment as it relates to equipment Completes follow-up visits for non-clinical respiratory patients Conducts Home Environmental Assessments for oxygen patients Assists patients in solving equipment-related problems Completes necessary paperwork and required documentation Exchanges equipment due for maintenance Sets up and picks up diagnostic studies and ensures delivery to appropriate physician Responds to emergency calls with clinical back up as needed
REQUIREMENTS
Must have a valid driver's license. Two year degree, preferably in healthcare related field. Familiarity with medical documentation systems. Ability to use navigation system and follow maps.
