Field Technician Covington, KY Apply Here Corporex is searching for a Field Technician to join the team overseeing our growing commercial real estate portfolio in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky market. As a Field Technician at Corporex, you will play a key role in maintaining property condition, supporting tenant experience, and ensuring timely response to maintenance needs across assigned properties. Dispatched by Property Managers and Lead Engineers, this hands-on maintenance technician will perform grounds maintenance, painting, general repairs, and small project work across the portfolio.
Essential Job Duties:
Conduct daily property inspections and report maintenance needs, safety concerns, or property appearance issues. Perform general grounds, landscaping, roof, drain, and gutter maintenance to support clean, safe, and well-maintained properties. Complete interior and exterior painting, drywall patching, small carpentry projects, and general repair work. Repair and replace plumbing fixtures, light fixtures, lamps, ceiling tiles, and perform minor electrical repairs. Move and arrange furniture, equipment, and materials as needed to support property operations. Communicate with Property Managers and Lead Engineers regarding work orders, repair status, and property needs. Travel between assigned properties as directed by the Property Manager or Lead Engineer. Perform on-call duties, including after-hours availability for emergencies. Perform other general maintenance tasks as assigned.
Skills, Education and Experience:
5+ years of hands-on property, facility, or building maintenance experience Plumbing experience, including repair and replacement of fixtures Carpentry experience, including drywall patching and small repair projects Painting experience (interior/exterior, equipment, and common areas) Ability to travel between multiple properties within the portfolio Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Professional appearance and attitude Effective communication skills Ability to work with minimal supervision Team-oriented approach Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks Proficiency using computers, smartphones, and basic work order or communication tools High school diploma or equivalent; trade school training a plus May perform other duties as assigned.
