Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Program Supervisor (TRP) - Lancaster

Job Description

Therapeutic Rehabilitation Program (TRP) Supervisor Mountain Comprehensive Care Center is hiring a Therapeutic Rehabilitation Program (TRP) Supervisor to oversee daily therapeutic rehabilitation programming for adults with Serious Mental Illness . Therapeutic Rehabilitation Program services are structured behavioral health services that help clients build skills related to emotional regulation, social functioning, independent living, recovery, and community stability. The TRP Supervisor is responsible for ensuring programming is organized, clinically meaningful, compliant, and responsive to client needs. Position Overview The TRP Supervisor provides oversight of adult TRP programming, including daily group structure, program development, staff coordination, documentation oversight, safety monitoring, transportation coordination, and compliance with agency and regulatory standards. This role requires strong leadership, organization, clinical understanding, and the ability to support both direct-care staff and clients within a structured behavioral health program. Key Responsibilities Program Development and Implementation The TRP Supervisor will: Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily group programming for adult and children's TRP services. Incorporate psychiatric rehabilitation approaches into structured activities. Support programming that builds skills related to emotional regulation, social functioning, coping strategies, independent living, and community participation. Ensure activities are clinically appropriate, purposeful, and connected to client treatment needs. Support consistency and quality across daily program operations. Clinical Collaboration and Documentation Participate in person-centered treatment planning with the treatment team. Collaborate with therapists, case managers, prescribers, and other clinical staff to support continuity of care. Review referrals and assign cases as appropriate. Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record. Monitor documentation quality to ensure services reflect medical necessity, client needs, and progress toward treatment goals. Program Operations and Compliance Maintain compliance with Department of Behavioral Health standards, MCCC policies, and applicable state/federal guidelines. Monitor overall program structure, quality, safety, and consistency. Conduct quarterly safety inspections and follow up on maintenance or safety needs. Ensure the program environment remains structured, respectful, and supportive for clients and staff. Coordination and Administrative Oversight Manage program-related expenses, including activities, meals, and supplies, within budget. Coordinate transportation needs and maintain TRP vehicle records. Support day-to-day operations for both adult and children's programming. Communicate effectively with staff, supervisors, families, schools, and community partners as appropriate. Attend required meetings, trainings, and supervision. Complete other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Human services. Must have a valid Kentucky motor vehicle operator's license.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
The preferred person for this position will possess the following: knowledge of evidence-based practices; such as Psychiatric Rehabilitation Model and Illness Management and Recovery. Ability to perform direct participant services and general knowledge of psychiatric rehabilitation skills teaching and techniques.
