Dental specialist office receptionist and patient coordinator
Job Description :
The front office receptionist/ patient coordinator partners with all team members and the specialist in taking care of our patient's needs. Our front office team is the front-line contact point for all patients and referring practices. Front desk team members are responsible for managing the schedule to meet the practice's efficiency and production goals. In addition, they ensure that every patient arrives doctor-ready and leaves with completion of payment and a full understanding of their next steps in treatment. Dental experience is preferred. Compensation depending on experience. Primary Duties, but not limited to: Coordinate with front office and back office to stay aligned and flexible throughout the day Professionally greet patients by welcoming them to our office Obtain patient information, insurance verification, and communicate with referring offices to obtain appropriate records Prepare patient documents needed for daily appointments Scanning documents into our electronic record keeping system Manage phone lines, email, and electronic communication system Establish and confirm patient appointments Collection of fees at the time of service Communicate confidently with the doctor any information to enhance patient care and maximize their experience Keep front office area supplied with all necessary items (paper, pens, paper clips, etc.) Take advantage of continuing education, development and growth opportunities Foster teamwork and contribute to our family-like cultureCharacteristics and Qualities:
