Job Overview Responsible for providing assistance and support to all supervisory and direct support staff in the provision of quality medical services and the coordination of medical services to all residents served. Responsibilities Providing nursing care and treatment of individuals in accordance with the Title XIX and state regulations Assisting attending physician (when applicable) with examining individuals and communicating all information relating to the individuals medical status Providing medical training for staff upon hire, annually and on-going supported training to individuals and staff as needed Coordinate health clinics (neuron, med review, etc.) routinely Communicate effectively with staff, parents/guardians and all medical service providers concerning medical services for residents Responsible for being "on-call" after hours and on some weekends as per schedule Responsible for the oversight and coordination of health services for all service recipients Supervise nursing services and nursing staff Qualifications Need to be an RN with at least 3-5 yrs exp Must have supervisory experience Long Term Care services nursing experience preferred Experience caring for developmentally disabled adults preferred Familiarity with Intermediate Care Facilities health services requirements/regulations preferred Experience with facility licensing surveys conducted by CMS and/or LDH preferred Willing to serve in an "on-call" rotation Competitive pay and benefits available

$76,960.00 - $85,280.00 per year
