We're looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator & Dental Assistant to join our team and help us deliver an outstanding patient experience from the moment someone calls our office to the moment they leave our chair. We are looking for two positions, a patient facing front desk and a chairside clinical support. If you love working with people, learning new systems, and being part of a team that's building something great, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do Patient Care Coordination:
Answer phones and warmly greet every patient by name Schedule and confirm appointments Verify insurance benefits and eligibility, including Medicaid plans Check patients in and out, collect payments, and schedule follow-up care Maintain accurate patient records in our practice management software (Curve) Support our reactivation and new patient outreach efforts
Dental Assisting:
Assist the doctor chairside during procedures Take digital X-rays Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms between patients Support hygiene appointments as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked clinical environment What We're Looking For Prior dental office experience preferred (front desk, assisting, or both) — but we're willing to train the right person Comfortable learning new software and systems quickly Warm, professional communication style — you genuinely enjoy people Highly organized with strong attention to detail Dependable and punctual — reliable attendance is essential Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Radiology certification a plus (or willingness to obtain) CPR/BLS certification a plus (or willingness to obtain) What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Hands-on training in a modern, growing practice Opportunity for growth as our practice expands A supportive team environment where your work is genuinely valued Paid time off Schedule Full-time, Monday-Thursday (specific hours to be discussed) Location 600 Vicnaire Avenue, New Iberia, LA 70563 To apply, please submit your resume.
