Full-Time About the Position Rising Up Family Services is seeking a dependable, organized, professional, and detail-oriented Office Administrator to support the daily operations of our behavioral health agency. The ideal candidate is a strong multitasker who understands the importance of confidentiality, documentation, deadlines, communication, and compliance in a behavioral health setting. This position requires someone who can take initiative, follow instructions, manage multiple responsibilities, and communicate professionally with clients, families, staff, providers, and management. Key Responsibilities Manage daily administrative and front-office operations. Answer telephone calls, respond to emails, and direct inquiries appropriately. Assist with client referrals, intake paperwork, scheduling, and follow-up. Maintain accurate and organized electronic and paper client records. Monitor staff documentation and follow up regarding missing or incomplete documentation. Assist with tracking required behavioral health documentation and deadlines. Maintain staff and client rosters and administrative tracking spreadsheets. Assist with Electronic Health Record (EHR) system functions and documentation monitoring. Communicate professionally with clients, parents/guardians, staff, supervisors, and outside providers. Assist with insurance verification, authorizations, credentialing, and other administrative functions as assigned. Maintain employee files, training records, credentials, and required documentation. Prepare reports, correspondence, spreadsheets, and other administrative documents. Assist management with quality assurance and compliance activities. Maintain HIPAA compliance and strict confidentiality of client and employee information. Follow established agency policies, procedures, and deadlines. Perform additional administrative duties as assigned by the Director. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Previous office or administrative experience required. Behavioral health, mental health, healthcare, Medicaid, or medical office experience strongly preferred. Experience with an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system preferred. Strong computer skills, including email, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and electronic documentation. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple assignments. Must be dependable and able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Must demonstrate professionalism and maintain confidentiality. Experience working with CPST, PSR, behavioral health services, Medicaid, authorizations, EHR systems, or behavioral health documentation is a plus.
