Both roles carry full clinical leadership responsibility within programs that serve women navigating co-occurring substance use and mental health challenges — one embedded in an outpatient co-occurring disorders program, and one within a residential recovery program that includes dedicated services for pregnant and postpartum women. These are not administrative titles. Both positions require active clinical supervision of licensed and unlicensed staff, direct accountability for program quality and compliance, and the kind of grounded, trauma-informed clinical judgment that only comes from experience in gender-responsive behavioral health settings. Candidates who have worked directly with women in recovery — particularly those managing co-occurring diagnoses, domestic violence histories, housing instability, or perinatal substance use — will find both the scope and the population deeply familiar. The organization's residential program has an 18-year history of serving women in recovery, including those with long histories of homelessness and those requiring perinatal-specific support. Clinical leadership here means understanding not just the clinical model but the lived context of the women it serves. Key Responsibilities Provide clinical supervision to licensed and unlicensed clinical staff across assigned program Ensure clinical quality, documentation compliance, and program fidelity to evidence-based and trauma-informed models Lead treatment team meetings, case consultations, and clinical reviews Oversee individual, group, and family therapy service delivery within the program Maintain compliance with Massachusetts BSAS, DMH, and applicable licensing standards Collaborate with residential, case management, and peer recovery staff on integrated care coordination Support crisis response protocols and clinical risk management Contribute to program development, staff training, and quality improvement initiatives Job Requirements Required Credentials Active Massachusetts licensure as LCSW, LICSW, or LMHC — required at time of hire Minimum three to five years of post-licensure clinical experience in behavioral health — required Experience with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders — required Prior clinical supervision experience — strongly preferred Preferred Background Direct clinical or supervisory experience in women's behavioral health, gender-responsive care, or residential recovery programs serving women Experience working with pregnant or postpartum women with substance use or co-occurring disorders Familiarity with trauma-informed care frameworks (TIC), ARC, or similar evidence-based models Experience with BSAS-licensed or DMH-contracted programs in Massachusetts Proficiency with electronic health record systems; familiarity with eHana a plus Additional Requirements Strong clinical documentation, communication, and team leadership skills Ability to manage competing clinical and administrative priorities in a residential or outpatient setting Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and person-centered care Equal Opportunity Statement Arbor Associates, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
