At Pearl Dental Associates + Implant Center, we understand the significance of a confident smile and the impact it can have on our patients' lives. At our amazing practice with amazing doctors, you will ensure patients are provided a wonderful experience from their phone calls to in office visits. As a Dental Patient Care Coordinator, you will be a key member of the team charged with accurately collecting for work performed. You will be communicating with patients, insurance companies, clinicians, and team members, to help assure payments are received timely and scheduled accordingly. You'll be an integral part of our team and will help provide excellent dental care to our valued patients. Required Qualifications Knowledge of dentistry and familiarity with various dental procedures Knowledge of dental insurance verifications and collection process Procificeny in practice management software, Dentrix Ascend is a plus 2+ years experience in a dental/medical office is desirable Job Responsibilities Answer phones, patient check-in/out, verify insurance and calculate co-pays, scheduling, etc. Build rapport with patients Answer patient questions about their bills. Post payments to correct accounts. Always meets the standards of professional and ethical conduct.
