Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Mental Health Director / Clinical Supervisor to lead our behavioral health team in delivering comprehensive mental health and behavioral care services. This pivotal role involves overseeing clinical operations, supervising licensed clinicians, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, client-centered care across diverse populations. The Director/Supervisor will provide clinical oversight and support to MSW students completing their field placements with our organization. Duties Provide supervision, guidance, and mentorship to MSW students completing their clinical field placements. Review and oversee students' clinical work and ensure they are meeting placement and professional expectations. Provide ongoing feedback, support, and guidance to students as they develop their clinical skills. Help coordinate and monitor students' placement activities and responsibilities. Participate in clinical case consultation and support appropriate documentation and follow-up. Work with and provide oversight related to both individual clients and group-based services, including group medical visits. Help ensure services are delivered in a professional, ethical, culturally responsive, and clinically appropriate manner. Collaborate with the organization's leadership and other providers to support quality patient care. Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focused on mental health conditions, trauma (including PTSD), child & family counseling, and addiction counseling. Ensure accurate documentation of medical records, mental health notes, treatment plans, and progress reports in electronic health records (EHR) systems while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations. Coordinate crisis intervention efforts, manage emergency situations effectively, and provide crisis management training to staff. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including social workers, pediatric specialists, special education providers, and community partners—to deliver holistic care. Qualifications Current Massachusetts Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) license. At least three years of experience practicing as a licensed clinical social worker. Proven supervisory experience leading clinical teams in behavioral health or mental health settings. Experience providing clinical supervision, preferably to MSW students. Strong knowledge of diagnostic evaluation tools such as

ICD-10/ICD-9

coding systems; familiarity with CPT coding is a plus. Expertise in evidence-based therapies including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, behavioral management techniques, crisis intervention strategies, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR/EHR) management systems; understanding of HIPAA compliance is essential. Excellent client communication skills; ability to work effectively with diverse cultural backgrounds and families from various communities. Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently while maintaining professional composure under pressure. Experience working with both individual and group visits or services. Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to provide constructive feedback and mentorship to students and staff. Experience working in a community mental health or behavioral health setting preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
