Job Description
Customer Service & Recall Outreach Specialist M&M Medical Supply - Mendon, Massachusetts Full-Time | Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00 M&M Medical Supply is seeking a friendly, dependable, and organized Customer Service & Recall Outreach Specialist to join our Mendon team. This position combines outbound customer outreach, order processing, and front-line phone support. The ideal candidate is comfortable speaking with customers, accurately entering information, and managing multiple priorities in a busy medical supply environment. Key Responsibilities Contact existing customers who may be eligible to reorder medical supplies. Explain available products and assist customers with their recurring supply needs. Process new and recurring orders accurately and efficiently. Answer incoming calls and assist customers, healthcare providers, and referral sources. Verify and update customer demographics, insurance information, prescriptions, and documentation. Enter orders and customer notes into the company's operating system. Follow up on missing information needed to complete or ship orders. Coordinate with team members to resolve order issues and provide timely service. Maintain accurate records of outreach attempts, customer responses, and follow-up needs. Protect patient confidentiality and follow all HIPAA requirements. Perform other customer service and administrative duties as needed. Qualifications Strong telephone and customer service skills. Comfortable making outbound recall and reorder calls. Clear, professional, and compassionate communication style. Excellent attention to detail and data-entry accuracy. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks. Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Basic computer proficiency required. Previous experience in healthcare, durable medical equipment, medical billing, insurance verification, or order processing is preferred. Experience with Brightree is a plus, but we will provide training.
