MEC Solutions is seeking an experienced Clinical Director to lead our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Day Treatment services. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing clinical operations, supervising multidisciplinary staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining high-quality patient care. Our program provides trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and client-centered treatment for individuals experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Responsibilities Provide leadership and clinical oversight of IOP and Day Treatment services Supervise therapists, counselors, interns, and case management staff Ensure compliance with all applicable clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards Oversee assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing patient care Review and maintain accurate clinical documentation and medical records in accordance with HIPAA and licensing requirements Support evidence-based programming, including CBT, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, psychoeducation, and trauma-informed interventions Provide guidance regarding crisis intervention and care coordination for individuals with co-occurring disorders Lead quality improvement initiatives and support program development Coordinate intake processes, case consultations, discharge planning, and community partnerships Assist with staff training, policy implementation, and operational processes Foster a collaborative, recovery-oriented treatment environment Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field Current independent clinical licensure in Massachusetts (LICSW, LMHC, or equivalent) Minimum of three years of experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or co-occurring disorders Leadership or supervisory experience preferred Knowledge of trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and recovery-oriented treatment models Experience with electronic health records and clinical documentation systems preferred Familiarity with BSAS standards and outpatient behavioral health regulations preferred Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Experience with KIPU is preferred but not required Benefits Competitive salary Paid time off and holidays Health and wellness benefits Professional development opportunities Collaborative and mission-driven work environment How to Apply Please submit your resume for consideration.
