If you've supervised clinicians, mentored colleagues, led a team, or helped manage an outpatient mental health clinic, this brand-new, state-of-the-art Waltham outpatient clinic is where you grow into the director role. Recently earned your Massachusetts LICSW? Your prior supervisory, mentoring, or management experience still counts, even if it came before independent licensure. Clinical Supervisors, Team Leads, and Clinical Managers ready for their first director role are strongly encouraged to apply. Why LICSWs are excited about this role Base salary of $95,000 per year , with aggressive quarterly bonuses on top. Realistic total annual earning potential of $100,000 to $120,000 , including base salary. Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. No on-call Full, hands-on Clinical Director training. No prior director experience required. Help launch a brand-new outpatient clinic in Waltham with a modern, integrated care model. A required therapy caseload of only 8 to 9 clients per week , so you stay connected to the clinical work you love. Bring your experience. We'll help you build the rest. You do not need to arrive already knowing every aspect of running a clinic. Our leadership team will work with you from day one, providing hands-on, role-specific training in: Clinic operations: scheduling, workflows, productivity, and day-to-day flow Clinical leadership: supporting therapists, quality of care, and documentation standards Team development: hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance conversations Program growth: building a strong foundation for a brand-new outpatient clinic About the clinic Our new Waltham location brings together outpatient therapy, psychiatric medication management, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), and integrated telehealth services under one roof. You'll help establish the clinic's culture, support its clinical team, and build a strong foundation for patient-centered care as the program grows. What you'll do Lead daily operations of the Waltham outpatient clinic and support high-quality, compliant, patient-centered care. Build and develop the team by helping recruit, train, and mentor licensed therapists and clinical staff. Provide clinical leadership and foster a collaborative environment where clinicians feel supported and continue growing. Stay connected to patient care with a required, dedicated therapy caseload of 8 to 9 clients per week alongside your leadership responsibilities. Support clinic growth by partnering with organizational leadership to establish strong clinical and operational practices as the clinic develops. Connect with the community to support local relationships, mental health awareness, and access to care in Waltham. What you'll bring Massachusetts licensure: An active Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license.
Education:
A master's degree or higher in social work or a related clinical field.
Leadership experience:
Experience supervising, mentoring, or managing staff, including work as a Clinical Supervisor, Team Lead, Clinical Manager, or outpatient program leader. Experience gained before independent licensure is welcome.
Clinical foundation:
A strong outpatient mental health background and sound clinical judgment.
Interest in growth:
