Job Description

Patient Care Coordinator- Dental Practice Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for welcoming visitors, checking patients in and out for their appointments, answering incoming calls, and scheduling future appointments.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice
  • Address patient's questions and concerns with care
  • Scheduling, rescheduling, confirming, or canceling appointments as needed
  • Follow up on no shows/cancellation of appointments
  • Assist patients to fill out information forms.
  • Updating patient records in practice management software and documenting recent treatments and procedures.
  • Generate and present Treatment Plans.
  • Verifying methods of payment and collecting payments as needed.
  • Performing general office duties as needed.
  • Insurance claims, pre-authorizations and posting insurance payment.
  • Organize and maintain patient waiting areas as well as front-desk areas
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Working knowledge of general administrative practices.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Impeccable Customer Service
  • Ability to schedule appointments for multiple columns
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience working in a dental or medical office preferred
  • Sound knowledge of dental terminology.
  • Experience with dental practice management software
Pay:
$25.00 per hour
