Summary of Position:
The Senior Director of Day Services and Clinical Supports provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for multiple day service programs, including Day Habilitation, Community‑Based Day Services (CBDS), Employment Supports, and related initiatives. This role is responsible for developing and implementing strategies that advance the goals of Day Habilitation and community‑based services, expand day service opportunities, foster innovative employment supports, and strengthen community partnerships, while ensuring day services are person‑centered, inclusive, and aligned with the organization's mission and regulatory requirements, promoting dignity, autonomy, skill development, and meaningful community inclusion. In addition, the Senior Director provides organizational‑level leadership and oversight of Clinical Supports, with responsibility for ensuring the effective design, implementation, and ongoing alignment of clinical practices with regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and best practices across service areas, including organizational oversight of Positive Behavior Support (PBS) practices and systems, in alignment with applicable regulatory requirements. Establish and maintain systems that support clinical documentation integrity, data review, and reporting requirements related to PBS and other clinical supports. Ensure systems are in place to support regulatory readiness across Day Services and Clinical Supports, including preparation for audits, surveys, and monitoring activities. Monitor prior authorization timelines and documentation accuracy for Day Habilitation and other applicable services to ensure compliance and prevent service interruptions. Provide organizational‑level oversight of quality indicators related to Positive Behavior Support (PBS) and other clinical supports, including incident trends, use of restrictive interventions, Human Rights protections, and clinical risk factors. Review and analyze programmatic and organizational data related to service delivery, utilization, incidents, and quality outcomes to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
