Job Description

Equity Staffing Group is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Patient Services Representative (Float) to support multiple outpatient healthcare locations throughout the Worcester area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping patients, is comfortable working independently, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The selected candidate will primarily be based in Worcester and will travel to nearby clinics as needed to provide coverage. Responsibilities Greet and assist patients in a professional and courteous manner. Check patients in for laboratory and radiology appointments. Triage patients to the appropriate department. Release laboratory and radiology orders in Epic. Request missing provider orders when necessary. Prepare imaging CDs for patient pickup. Provide exceptional customer service while ensuring accurate patient registration and documentation. Coordinate with clinical staff and laboratory personnel to support daily operations. Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines. Perform other front office and patient support duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous customer service experience required. Healthcare or medical office experience preferred. Epic EMR experience is a plus. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Comfortable floating between multiple clinic locations as business needs require. Reliable transportation for travel between assigned sites. Work Environment Approximately 80% independent work with 20% collaboration alongside laboratory staff and clinical teams. Fast-paced outpatient healthcare setting. Dress Code Business casual.
