Job Description

LifeStar Response is looking for a Clinical Coordinator to join our team and help drive clinical excellence across our operations. This role is ideal for an experienced EMT, Paramedic, or EMS professional who is passionate about patient care, clinical quality, compliance, and developing the next generation of EMS providers. Working closely with the KQT Health Director of Nursing (DON), Clinical Director, Training Team, and operational leadership, you will play a key role in ensuring our clinical practices meet the highest standards of quality, safety, compliance, and patient care. What You'll Do Quality Assurance & Clinical Excellence Review Patient Care Reports (PCRs) and clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, compliance, and quality. Conduct routine chart audits and evaluate patient care processes to ensure adherence to clinical protocols and standards. Identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of clinical risk. Develop and implement corrective actions and performance improvement plans when necessary. Track key performance indicators, including patient outcomes, protocol compliance, and clinical performance. Assist with maintaining and improving LifeStar Response's overall clinical quality assurance program. Work collaboratively with the KQT Health DON and appropriate management to address clinical concerns and improve patient care. Compliance & Regulatory Support Ensure clinical operations remain compliant with applicable state, federal, and industry standards, including HIPAA and OSHA requirements. Assist with EMS agency licensing, inspections, audits, and credentialing processes. Serve as a liaison with outside hospitals, state and local agencies, EMS organizations, and other healthcare partners as directed by management. Identify compliance concerns and assist leadership with appropriate resolution.
