Patient Care Coordinator
Job Description
Patient Care Coordinator - Dental Office We're looking for a dependable, experienced, and proficient dental professional who takes pride in doing things the right way. Our dental practice is looking for a Patient Care Coordinator who can deliver exceptional patient service while helping our team keep the day running smoothly. Compensation and Benefits $25-30/hour based on experience Structured bonus system Paid time off + paid holidays Retirement plan and employer match Employee's discount for dental treatment Responsibilities May Include Welcome and care for patients with professionalism and kindness. Coordinate a productive and efficient provider schedule. Present treatment plans and confidently discuss treatment costs and financial arrangements. Verify insurance benefits and understand PPO insurance, deductibles, annual maximums, and patient portions. Handle dental insurance, billing, claims, patient balances, and financial transactions. Follow up with patients regarding outstanding treatment and recall. Manage cancellations, waitlists, and appointment confirmations. Maintain accurate patient, insurance, and financial records. What We're Looking For Dentrix proficiency is required. Dental front desk experience is required. Experience with clinical/assistant or hygiene duties is a plus. Knowledge of dental insurance, billing, claims, and CDT codes. Experience presenting treatment plans and discussing finances with patients. Strong computer, organizational, and multitasking skills. Excellent attention to detail. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. A professional attitude and willingness to learn our systems.
