Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk / Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing ENT medical office. This role is the first point of contact for patients and plays a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient experience from check-in to check-out. The ideal candidate has excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors in a professional and compassionate manner Answer incoming phone calls and assist with scheduling appointments Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and eligibility Check patients in and out while maintaining accurate records Collect co-pays, balances, and required documentation Coordinate patient flow and communicate with clinical staff regarding scheduling updates Respond to patient questions and provide general office information Manage referrals, medical records requests, and appointment confirmations Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations Assist with additional administrative and clerical duties as needed Qualifications Previous experience in a medical office, front desk, or customer service role preferred ENT or specialty medical office experience is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Comfortable working with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Professional appearance and positive attitude High school diploma or equivalent required Preferred Skills Experience with insurance verification and patient scheduling Knowledge of medical terminology Ability to handle high patient volume with professionalism and efficiency Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Retirement plan options Supportive and team-oriented work environment Opportunities for advancement and professional growth About Our Practice We are a patient-focused ENT practice committed to delivering exceptional care in a welcoming and professional environment.
