Audiology Practice Allegany Hearing & Balance Location:
LaVale, Maryland Schedule:
Full-Time | Monday-Thursday | 7:00 AM-5:30 PM About the Position Allegany Hearing & Balance is seeking a professional, friendly, and highly organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at our LaVale location . Our Patient Care Coordinators are an important part of the patient experience and often serve as the first point of contact for our practice. The ideal candidate will be warm and welcoming, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a busy healthcare environment. If you enjoy helping people, providing exceptional customer service, and being part of a collaborative healthcare team, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities The Patient Care Coordinator will assist with the day-to-day operations of the practice, including: Greeting patients and creating a welcoming, professional experience Answering and managing incoming phone calls and electronic faxes Scheduling, confirming, and coordinating patient appointments Checking patients in and out Maintaining accurate patient and demographic information Assisting patients with forms and general questions Communicating effectively with audiologists and other team members Supporting efficient patient flow throughout the clinic Completing administrative and clerical tasks as assigned Maintaining patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times Providing exceptional customer service to patients and their families Qualifications We are looking for someone who: Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills Is friendly, professional, and patient-focused Is dependable and punctual Has strong organizational and multitasking abilities Pays close attention to detail Is comfortable using computers and learning new software Works well both independently and as part of a team Can remain professional and organized in a fast-paced environment Is willing to learn and take initiative Previous experience in a medical office, healthcare setting, front desk position, scheduling role, or customer service environment is preferred , but we are willing to train the right candidate. Schedule Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM This position offers a consistent four-day work week with a three-day weekend every week .
